My agency is offering an employee purchase of the FNH LE FN15 rifle. I checked the specs but it does not say weather the front sight is the F marked type and/or height. Anyone know if this rifle will work with a Colt carry handle?

Its probably built to mil spec so I would assume it is good to go with the carry handle.

They are GTG. All Milspec just like a Colt.

Not exactly, unless they've changed things up since I purchased one.

The castle nut was not staked. Not a huge deal, but not 'milspec'.

Apparently, FN isn't allowed to use their knowledge of the TDP to build their commercial rifles, so again, not 'milspec' per se.

Not that it's a deal breaker. If you can get one for a good deal, it should run just fine.

I recently picked up an FN 15 DMR and it appears that they have changed things since their earlier offerings.  The castle nut is staked and the gas key is beautiful staked as well.  They removed the white logo from the right side and went with an engraved logo on the usual spot on the left side as well as a nice engraved logo on top of the receiver.  Its a good looking rifle that I'd rate a notch or two above my 6920's.

I had a long look at one recently. They look like they are beautifully made.

If I didn't already have ARs coming out of my ears I would definitely pick one up.

That is great to know. The part about the engraving and no more white logo.

I'm going to wait for the FN military collector series come available.

Hoping they have FNMI roll marks. Not really fond of the flamboyant FNH logo.

I purchased two FN 15 tacticals earlier this year, one as a gift.  Both have mag wells that do not like Gen 2 Pmags.  They work just fine with Gen 3 Pmags and USGI but Gen 2 don't drop free.  Other than that fact I have been pleased with the rifles.

The FN 20" rifle I looked at had a canted FSB.
