Low profile gas block. Should the set screws be staked? And if staked is loctite necessary? Thanks...

Staking is not needed, but you can do it for that extra peace of mind. I have two blocks one with red loctite the other has blue on the screws. No issues with either. One of these days I will put some rocksett on the block with the blue loctite just for the extra security.

I used some red high temp (650F) loctite on mine. It will be very difficult to loosen the screws, even at 750F! No way that my gas blocks ever come loose.
