Here is my situation:
This is my rifle I use for work on night shift (midnights) . I am looking for a muzzle device that both reduces flash for the shooter as well as displaces sound down range is possible. Suppressors are not an option (yet) Rifle is a DDM4V4 SBR 11.5 I have shot it with both the DD A2 flash hider and a Troy Claymore. The A2 seemed louder and the Troy made a big fireball. Have not shot it at night yet so I don't know how dramatic the flash will be to me. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated |

Surefire warcomp or sf3p and if desired add the warden blast diffuser. Then you would be setup nicely for a socom supressor when the timing is right.

Griffin Armament M4SD
Kaw Valley Precision Linear Kies Master Blaster. Precision Armament EFAB and AFAB Hera Arms gen2 / and small version Simple Threaded Devices I am currently getting together parts for 3 sbr's and I am trying to find out which one of these will work the best. You have more things to consider. Suppressor compatibility goes to the Griffin Armament ... future (as in the yet option). The Precision Armament EFAB looks like a good fit as it does both things well, blast mitigation and flash suppression. Maintaining your night vision is critical for you. I look at this stuff at work and they have youtube blocked so I can't research it here. I get home and honey-do, sleep usually win out. PWS CQB look interesting... pricy .... but interetsing 
The EFAB and The STD (Simple Threaded devices) are options... but I research things to death.... only to find something possibly better comes out.... and then research some more... to then return to my first options or change the direction my builds are going in.... |
