Anyone had any problems with SanTan billet uppers? I helped a friend assemble an AR this week and had several problems. First the buffer retainer pin absolutely would not fit inside the hole in the upper. I ended up drimmeling the pin around it to get it to fit (spikes parts kit).
Main issue now is I had a Geissele reaction rod and was very hard to fit in the upper down to the chamber. Had to twist and turn until i got it far enough . Then when we put in the BCG it was very tight. I expect feeding problems.. Anyone had any issues with santan? I have emailed and haven't heard back and called. Was wanting to shoot it this weekend but didn't want to void any warranty... |
