Shooting a Wyndham carbine and have been testing Nosler Defense 223. Occasionally will not pick up the next round from the magazine. Never have this problem with 556 like xm193. Ideas?

Sounds like it's shortstroking.
What gas system, buffer, and BCG? What does your ejection pattern look like when it does feed properly?
