| Does anyone with a NEA CCS have issues with using PMags or Hex mages? I was testing my new lower and neither a Hex Mag or a Pmag will seat in the mag well with the bolt forward and the magazines unloaded. A GI Mag works with no problem. Now when I load the gun from the open bolt position the bolt carrier catches in the mag. I have to remove the mag to let the bolt go all the way forward. Then I cannot load the mag back in because of the first issue. I removed the upper to put the mag back in and it fires but won't cycle. The lips on the PMag and Hex Mag are showing wear from this. GI Mag runs flawlessly. I put another BCG in and was able to insert mags with no problem. Can't try the feeding issue with that bolt obviously because of the propitiatory BCG. |

I have a NEA, if you want I could take a look at yours. Mine didn't come with a bolt just the carrier but i've never had an issue with any type of mag i've used. |
| It's the carrier that came with the kit. Something is just out of spec to where the carrier catches the mags and it won't feed or allow me to load an empty mag into the gun with the bolt all the way forward. I confirmed this with placing upper with the carrier in another lower and just removing the buffer spring. I've sent a message to NEA. I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else. I'm seriously considering getting rid of this and getting on the MVB back order list. |
