Moved to a free state. Looking at getting a suppressor.
I need to change my old pinned/welded comp. I was going to put a surefire socom muzzle brake on, with the idea of getting a surefire suppressor as well. But are the surefire brakes compatible with other brand suppressors as well? |

There doesn't seem to be much compatibility between manufacturers; there are even compatibility issues with different cans within the same manufacturer. With the effort required to swap a pinned/welded device, I would nail down the suppressor decision first.
P.S. I just had ADCO swap a pinned/welded device for me a few weeks ago. Great work and super fast turnaround. |
| The only suppressor that supports different mounts is the Silencerco Saker series. They have a modular mounting system that can use a few different manufactures but Surefire is not one of them. Like stated before, you really need to pick a suppressor then get the appropriate FH/MB. |

The Liberty Mystic-X can is flexible as well. It can use a solid thread mount, a recoil booster mount on a pistol, or the Silencerco mounts for compatibility with several other companies mounts.
