Hey guys,

Does anyone know what color Duracoat best matches Atacs-FG? I am looking at painting my handguard and would like a solid color green that blends well with my buttstock and grip that are dipped in Atacs-FG.

Any advice is appreciated?

Forget about duracoat. It's gunky, wears off easy, and doesn't provide any level of protection. If you want to change the color and rattle canning isnt an option, then Cerakoat is by far a better choice for a finish than duracoat.

I've had a duty rifle for years with Durakote and it hasn't worn easy nor was it gunky. It's cheaper and you can do it yourself.
Especially for small parts or just a rail.
If your looking for the entire rifle then I agree go with Cera.

LOL!  if a 13'er applies it then sure I believe that....Cerakote is certainly a better product, but Duracoat is fine for its ease of use and is 10 notches above a rattle can.  The key to duracoat success is letting it cure for at least 3 weeks.
