[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Vortex Magnifier vs Primary Arms Magnifier

Which is better - the Vortex Magnifier or the Primary Arms mag? Both have a flip-to-side mount. The PA with the PA mount is $30 less.

I say the Vortex for sure. I'v had Primary Arms products in the past and they're great out of the box but never last long. That's just from my own experience anyways. Vortex comes with their VIP unconditional warranty and I think that includes magnifiers. A few weeks ago my neighbor lent me his Vortex VMX-T3 and I like it a lot.

I had both. Vortex had the better eye relief, and slighy clearer picture. I don't have experience with PA's Long Eye Relief magnifier, but mine was a Gen 3.

lifetime warranty, they have excellent glass, and their reputation is well earned. PA and Marshal are great for what they are but not in the same class as Vortex
