This is my first group of shots with my 16" AR that I built.  First time using iron sights as well.  The target could only go to a maximum of 75 feet, indoor range, so that was the distance I was stuck with.  Tested out the action with a one round loaded mag and made sure after the shot the bolt stayed back, then progressed to three rounds to make sure it wouldn't go full auto!!  After a few groups of three I progressed to 10 and stayed at that number til I was done.  I was also planning on zeroing the sights in, but upon those first few shots I realized I was hitting pretty much where I was pointing, plus I'm not able to zero for the distance I really wanted anyways.  All the shots were from standing position.  This is my first rifle to own, and so far I'm really digging it!!

Perp is missing left ear, has permanent left side part in hair, no face, heart, or lungs. Nicely done for your first build. I like the way you approached the shooting phase; one round, then two or three, etc. Signs of uncommon common sense is strong in you OP! You are representing the class of '14 very well Sir. Keep up the good work and a belated welcome.

I do like how I did a little Mike Tyson to his ear.  I was shifting my front grip around and that caused a few of the strays, also most of the chest shots were double taps.  I was amazed I could keep the shots that close from that distance, I can't come close to that with my pistol and that's from 20 feet back!!
