I'm in the process of buying the parts for a lower to go with my midlength upper and I have a couple of questions regarding the Vltor A5 system:

Is it primarily designed to address over gassed carbines and lower the cyclic rate of full auto M4s or does it provide a noticeable difference / benefit when paired with midlength uppers as well?

How is it better / worth the extra money vs. simply going with an enhanced spring and heavier buffer (i.e. Sprinco Blue spring and H2)?

The combination of heavier buffer and softer/longer spring work well in any AR config that I've dealt with.

I use em in a carbine and SPR.

They just seem to run softer like rifles.
