Are they any good, or stay away?  Looking for a backup, and may have a line on a cheap one...
Thanks

Wouldn't be my first choice. Toward the bottom of the barrel in my opinion. If you got it super cheap in may be an OK backup.

You can get the Bushy for that price and it is likely a CMT product.

Assuming its used id say $50. But i wouldnt put much value on any used bolt. Too many unknowns. You can get a new spikes for 140, stag for 115, or a PSA premium for 99

From experience? Excellent. From general opinion? Whatever.

From my experiences they have been gtg, general opinion here is they are about avg. Although many here think if you are not running DD, BCM, or Noveske your stuff is crap.

There is a AO BCG for sale on eBay for $89 that is excellent...they make the BCGs for FN and have the same spec's.

They aren't considered the best, but they don't have a reputation of being complete crap either.  I mean, any bolt will fail eventually, regardless if it's MP/HPT or Shot Peened or sprayed with some magic chemical.  It's just the nature of the beast.

DPMS seems to back their products pretty well.  If it breaks prematurely, contact DPMS.  Everything on any rifle should be replaced given enough wear.  By the time you break the bolt through normal use, you could have saved money to buy a replacement bolt.
