| I am trying figure weather to buy or build? I can buy a Colt LE6920MP-FDE LE6920 MP for a little over $900, a lot of people are telling to buy if I can get this AR for that price. Could I build one better for that price? If so what would be the best parts? |

| This psa m4 premium blem kit plus a lower for ~$75 and $150 for the Magpul accessories the Colt comes with and you've still saved several hundred dollars and likely won't be able to tell the difference. |

I'd buy at that price.... that way you get a complete rifle to start with, all the needed quality parts are there. Also Colt wants to sell you a inexpensive rifle... so they get quantity pricing ... you on the other hand would probably pay for everyone else's overhead..... on every part.
Then from there you can add could add / upgrade parts... barrels, grips, triggers.. etc. If you were to add up the price of even just the major Colt parts... I bet you'd still be far over the $900 Colt. $300 dollars for a Colt BCG Barrel & Front Sight Assembly, M4, 14.5 TO 16"...$629 you can see where this is going... I realize you could get cheaper parts.... but , you get just that... cheaper parts. This is all just my opinion.... I am not looking to argue anyone about the quality of colt parts v. someone else's ..... Just making a point about Colt can build it a heck of a lot cheaper than you. |
