| I recieved my freedom upper and it looks good. I am thinking about another of their uppers but don't want a pinned front sight, so which if any of their models comes without the front sight being pinned on? I don't really want a front sight at all, just the gas block is all i need. Thanks |

It's not trolling, the OP post was nothing more than advertising for psa , there are alot of manufactures that make what he supposedly is looking for, This isn't GD. If you don't have anything to contribute then don't say anything. The OP was not advertising, simply asking a question about products from a company he likes. As others have said OP, get an upper with a free float hand guard on it and you are good to go. |

His question is legitimate and your response is nothing more then an unfounded opinion. More importantly, you contribute absolute nothing to the topic... Maybe we should ask the moderator to create a section for people like you who have unfounded opinions and call the section "People Who Need Attention Because They Have Nothing to Offer" That way you can bore yourselves with your trivial and childish non-sense while the rest of us can get on with substantive matters. |
| Take a look at JSE Surplus. I have ordered a few uppers from them before and they have plenty in stock with lots of customizing options. Their number is on the website. I've called them a few times with questions and have always gotten ahold of a real person very quickly. They seem like a good fit for what you need OP. I like PSA just fine, but they are getting ridiculous with shipping times and splitting up shipments. They are getting to be too much of a headache for me to deal with anymore. |

Yes your right, the more you post the smarter you are! Like you for example, Question - how did you get "advertising" out of the OP at all? He asked a question. It's clearly not something he knows too much about or he'd have known the answer himself. Why would PSA try to advertise through something like this?
Guess no one should ever mention any brand name - it could be confused for advertising

Didn't you also get a warning already how this is not GD and should not be treated as such. Seriously Comander your trolling is pathetic and has no place here. Also I am not sure if you are aware of this, however commander is spelled with two m's.
Just to contribute to this thread, OP you are probably looking for a free floated fore arm system with a low profile gas block. If you really are interested in a PSA product you need to jump on the upper you want once it gets back in stock as PSA tends to sell out of popular stock items quick. |

JSE has excellent CS. |

OP, another option you might have.
Purchase one of their uppers that has a pinned FSB, shave it down, and then install a rail or handguard of your choice. That still gives you the option to use a cheaper non FF handguard like a Magpul MOE if you so desire. You can also use a FF handguard which utilizes the stock barrel nut like some of the offerings from MI, DD, or Centurion. All you'd have to do is cut off the delta ring (it stays on in the case of a DD Omega.) It also gives you an essentially "bombproof" installation for the gas block so you won't have to worry about any issues arriving from a loose gas block. ETA: If I were you, this is the option I'd go with. |
