I have an issue with two new PSA pre-assembled lowers in that the bolt catch will not engage either manually via charging handle with an empty mag or under live fire with the last round holding it open.  I also noticed it takes two hands to apply enough pressure to release the bolt when a mag is loaded or several palm strikes.  I also checked to ensure that the bolt catch tip is properly contacting the mag follower and indeed it does.  The bolt catch moves freely when a mag is removed but it is very stiff/binding with an empty mag inserted.  Any ideas?

Sounds like the bolt catch itself is out of spec dimensionally in some way. I would contact PSA via email or here on there industry page and see if they can resolve the issue for you.

I'll contact them about a new bolt catch.  After trying different mags, It seems 20 round Pmags are consistently a problem.
