AR10 from Live Free Armory.  I bought it the night before the 2016 election just in case Hillary won.

My attempt to match magpul stealth gray with a rattle can. I am pleased. The SBA3 is a bit different but close enough.

My first grey rifle.
Painted with DupliColor Coat Cast Iron color. Ceramic engine enamel.

After 1500 or so rounds. Paint is looking decent. A little scratching on the FA.

Magpul Grey furniture, Tungsten Grey Raptor CH, and Stealth Grey Duracoat for the rail, magazine, and small bits like safety, bolt catch, mag release.  They all match a little closer in person than in the picture, the biggest issue being that the Duracoat has a gloss finish to it while the Magpul furniture is dull.  But she's grey and shoots well.

I forgot to come back and post when I finished my build. Even this pic is a little outdated now, but this was nearly complete.

Are any of the Alumna-Hyde II flavors of gray a good match for Magpul Stealth Gray?

They have "Parkerizing Gray (medium gray), Dark Parkerizing Gray (medium dark), Stainless Steel Gray"

A couple new builds in progress. Parts just came back from NP3 plating with Wright Armory. Barrels are now at ADCO getting their gas blocks pinned on and the Surefire Flash suppressor pinned on the 14.5" Proof Research carbon fiber wrapped barrel.

I fully disassembled the Magpul UBR gen 2 and sent all the internals off for NP3 plating. Right down to the wire that holds the door flap in place. These stocks come apart easy, but can be challenging to get back together correctly. Luckily I took pictures as I went and had another stock like it to look at while working.

I had issues with the Magpul CTR stock in gray. The lock wouldn't tighten up the stock to the receiver extension on several different rifles. So I bent the flange under the lock that applies pressure to the plastic part of the stock. This causes it to press the plastic tighter to engage the lock. This ended up being a pretty simple fix and works on all loose CTR stocks. I took measurements of the flange with calipers, then squeezed the flange in a vice carefully. I worked slow and was able to set the tension where I wanted. All the internals of the CTR were plated in NP3. They're actually pretty easy to disassemble.

Rough test fit. A few parts were sent out to my painter to match the NP3 finish. Things like the light head can't be plated.

Waiting for its main optic.

I was playing with a new photo set up today and figured I would share some updated pics since my build is now complete.

Sorry for the excessive oil on the receivers, I did not clean it before taking pics.

Where did you get the gray pmag?  I tried to dye some and they looked really blueish tinged.

I dont know if they still offer the solid colors. I've tried many different paint brands and colors trying to find one to match but have had no luck.
