Alright who's the AR15.com dude that sold me this junk!!
Bought this years back on the EE, always suspected something when 22LR and pistols dimpled it. Today I shot some M193 at 100 yards and destroyed it, Just posting this as a buyer beware, not looking for any resolution. Shooting Arntzen targets now, no more home brew.

We'd need more info than just "buyer beware"... Lots of people sell AR500 targets. Looks interesting though.

I've got some local made 1/2" AR500 plates and a .204 Ruger at less than 100 will barely dimple it. A .22lr would barely scratch the paint.

I'm going to say mild steel or at least case hardened mild steel.

We have MGM steel that we use for our club 2 gun matches and when they were brand new, we took them for a spin and found that M193 does in fact dimple the steel. Not as drastic as M855 but, left dimples nonetheless.
