I'll first apologize because I am sure you get a lot of these threads. Right now I am trying to decide between KAC, Daniel Defense, LWRC, or build my own lower with a franklin arm's stripped lower+ buy a complete DD/LWRC upper and attach it.
1) I can't figure out if the DDM4v5 or LWRC M6 or KAC Sr-15 have chrome lined barrels. How many rounds are each of these rated for? 2) How much of an accuracy or reliability difference will I see between daniel defense vs LWRC/KAC. Keep in mind, I don't plan on competing in any competition. I want to be able to hit man size targets at 200-400 meters away. My main focus is some sort of combat setting. 3) Will I have any issue with the Franklin Armory lower matching with any of these uppers? The reason I ask is I want a magpul ACS stock, a magpul bolt catch, and pistol grip. So with some of these rifles I would be spending $200-$300 from the stock gun. That's why I am considering building my own lower with the parts I want and then throwing on a new upper. 4) Which brings me to my last question. the DDm4v5 upper is $1100 and the LWRC is $1950. For my purposes, is the cost difference justified? Besides the fact that I think the newest LWRC m6IC is the sexiest AR I've ever seen, I am trying to figure out what is worth my money. Keep in mind while money isn't really an issue, I can wait a few extra pay checks, I am trying to figure out what is the best balance between features, cost, and overall quality. I'd personally rather spend extra money if it's justified. |
