I apologize if this question is in another thread, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. My BCG has a "SM" stamped on it. No other markings. Anyone know what this is?

I'm pretty sure CM on the bolt stands for 'Continental Machine'
I've only had one experience with them. I bought just the bolt at a gun show and the hole for the can pin was drilled in the wrong place. The round would eject straight up into the roof of the receiver. I've heard other people have had good experiences with their stuff though. The issue with mine was just a fluke. |
