Ok, I have just completed 3 AR builds and I am now about to purchase my optics and would love some opinions.
For my Sabre 16" Mid length Upper I leaning strongly for a Browe 4x32 Combat Optic Rifle Scope BCO001L. This comes with the red chevron reticle. It comes with a LaRue LT270 mount. For my BCM 18" SPR upper I leaning toward the SWFA SS HD 1-4x24 Tactical 30mm Riflescope with the Bobro mount and SS throwlever. For my Sabre 16' carbine I leaning toward an ACOG TA31F which comes with the same reticle as the BROWE. This will have a LaRue LT100 mount. However I have not ruled out a EOTech EXPS2 Tactical Holosight with a 3x switch to side magnifier or an Aimpoint CompML3 also with a 3x magnifier. If I go with either of the last two then I have to decide 2mm or 4mm dot. Any thoughts/comments would be appreciated. |
