Probably a dumb question but I recently made a small trade for an Ar15 build that I really like but would like to dress up a bit. What I'm working with is 20"FN Barrel on a Colt A2 upper with a Magpul rifle length hand guard. I'd like to know if anyone makes an inexpensive rifle length quad rail or something to that effect that is worth purchasing. I told by guys that work at one of the local gun shops that I should spend a bunch of money for one that is worth while and I'd like to know if that is a valid assessment. I don't buy it, but I could be wrong. I also plan on finding a flat top upper to be able to better attach an optic. Any information and or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Also if you have any of these items for sale I'd be happy to take a look at them. I've heard nothing but good things about this forum so I'm anxious to here what everyone has to offer. Thanks |
| Make friends with people that own ARs, shoot all your friends ARs, decide what you like from their rifles. I have a LaRue rail and love it but with your first AR you will end up buying alot of parts you won't love so much 6 months later. It's a form of early onset dementia known as BRD. |

| You could replace your entire upper receiver group (less bcg) with one of these PSA upper for almost the same money. |
