I own a SW M&P15 Carbine.

I am looking at purchasing a Spikes Tactical Lower Receiver. Can someone please explain the guidelines to what lowers are compatible with what and vice versa?

Simply put, could I purchase the Spikes Tactical Lower and would it fit the upper of my SW M&P15?

Almost all are compatable as long as They are in spec.

Sometimes You will get an upper / lower fit that is loose or too tight because of tolerance stacking but They should work.

Yes. They are compatible. Both are standard spec AR parts.
