I have a bushy from 05, it's got an a2 upper. I was considering buying an flattop upper and swapping out so I get an actual cheek weld with my acog. Is there a good way to ensure matching finishes? My current upper has the keyhole forge mark

Only way to get close is to buy local and match as best you can.
ETA: Buy local so you can get eyes on the upper and inspect it yourself.
