I shoot some informal 3 gun stuff, and a lot of 1-5 drills and so forth. I don't do any bench rest  shooting with this particular AR. I have never used anything but milspec triggers from RRA etc. Because we run with the guns and set them down, transition to secondary, etc... I am concerned about getting a very light trigger. I can't compromise safety with my application. I have narrowed down my purchase to a Geissele SSA, SSA-E and the G2S. I have read their product application over and over and just can't decide. Ideas on which one to get for my "CQB/3 gun" style shooting? Thanks.

Why is the Geissele S3G or SD3G not listed as an option for you?  Based on what you've said, it sounds like the S3G or SD3G was made just for you.  I enjoy run and gun rifle shooting too, and I'm loving my SD3G.

Out of the options listed the SSA-E would be what I would choose.

Check out Exile Machine for great prices on Geissele triggers.  I got my SSA-E from them for Christmas (they're sold out right now), but their S3G triggers are still in stock - for just over $200.

I was told that the 3G might be a bit light if I ever had to "use" the rifle. It's not the only AR I have, but I should have listed that in my search. So many tiger options.

I've beat the hell out of my DD with a really light 3lb timney drop in. The quality of these drop ins rival ANY other . Oh yea and they aren't a headache to install
