I bought a few accuwedges from Mako for my Windham Weaponry SRC. I put one in and after I closed it up, is was very tight with no movement. I was very happy that is seems to work well. I also have a S&W M&P sport which has a lot of movement and wanted to put one in it also. But when I tried the shelf that the accuwedge sits on is not as deep. Why do they make it that way and some they make with deeper shelves. Any suggestions on what one can do if you have a high shelf.

Trim your accuwedge to fit.  My hunting rifle I have one in and I just trimmed the accuwedge by removing some of the base of the rubber with a sharp knife till I took out the rattle noise.

The Accuwedge typically comes a little tall for most rifles, so you normally would trim the bottom with an Exacto knife so you can close and pin the upper with just the right amount of pressure - you don't want to have to force it shut. I only use one in my scoped carbine. The other carbine has an EOTech and BUIS so its not as critical.

As other have said, just trim it. They make them a little long for most rifles so that you can cut it to size to fit just about any rifle, instead of having to make 100 different sizes. .

Accuwedge will not work with a M&P Lower. I trimmed it and trimmed it and trimmed it until I finally destroyed it. I picked one up to meet the min free shipping requirements from Amazon.

the raised tray is to makes it more difficult to convert it to FA.

you can put a small piece of linerless rubber tape were the acuwedge sits, degrease the area 1st. you can just keep adding layers till its tight enogh, works well for rifles that have slop.

Where would one put the o-ring to get rid of upper/lower wobble?
