How much does torquing down a muzzle device affect accuracy?
What happens to the bore diameter?
What is optimum torque?
When building a high performance engine it's common to bolt a plate on the engine block before machining, so the cylinders will be round when the heads are installed.

why would it? Once its screwed on, its screwed on. Shouldn't matter "how tight" it is.

An AR isn't a "high performance engine". Don't make it harder than it needs to be.

Over torquing can definitely distort the bore and cause accuracy issues. I try to never exceed 30-35 ft lbs for any reason.
