What do you guys have to say about Core 15 rifle systems. I am looking to buy within the next few months, I have not seen many review on these rifles and was wondering if maybe you guys would have some knowledge on their build quality and customer support.
This is the specific rifle I am looking at . |

Please don't buy that. You can build an extremely nice rifle for that kind of money. If you want a complete buy a Rainier, BCM, Daniel Defense. All are much better rifle for a good bit less money.
In fact you could buy one of these and have enough cash left for a decent optic as well. |

He could get a BCM and have money leftover for optics, but a complete DD rifle will still run $1500+. Most people bash Core15's DI rifles, as very few I imagine have experience with their piston rifles. Their piston system is sourced from Adams Arms IIRC and they're good to go. I've never owned a complete Core rifle but I've never had problems with their BCGs. So my stance is that it sounds like it could be a solid platform, but I'd rather shop around if I had that kind of money to drop. |

I bought my first AR roughly 5 months ago and it's a Core 15. I have made some upgrades (trigger, butt stock optics) and after 900 rounds have never had a malfunction. With that being said, I have my first build almost complete and have ordered upper and lower for my second build already. I had never owned a rifle (lots of pistols) and with the information available at your finger tips, do some research and you can get a lot more bang for your buck by building your own. I have also learned that it is very addictive. |
| I had high hopes for Core 15, Please read my thread below the gun I purchased should not have left the factory in that condition pictures are posted on firearms talk.com under the same heading see for yourself. With that said I will sell this gun when I get it back from Core and buy a DD you can buy them for 1300.00 by me. There cant possibly be any quality control to let this happen. I will state again buyer beware. |

I owned a LMT and loved it as well, however, I just picked up a DD M4A1 SOCOM for $1500 from budsgunshop and man I am in love with it!! Daniel Defense is my new favorite brand...I also own a BCM Recce.
Out of three I have owned (DD, BCM, LMT) I would go with the DD. More bang for the buck...top quality and better overall value. |
| Run. Don't walk. Go to Primary Arms and get you a Daniel Defense. |
