I like it.

I know this is probably a stupid question and I'm  prepared for the fallout: Is that an add on piece for that stock to make it fold or is that how that stock comes?

Well, I built an 8.2 inch upper instead of the 9 inch, and I used the DD 7.0 lite rail and CMT upper receiver.

With that combination and this same lower, there was a lot of play which just rattled too much for me.

I tried the accu wedge and basically same issue.  Though gaps/rattling are normal I just wanted to upgrade to the VLTOR so I did.

After I bought the stripped VLTOR upper, AAC 9 inch barrel and KAC rail and assembled the rattle is completely gone.  You
cannot budge this upper and lower once assembled.  Also it is easy to take down which I was surprised about.

Thanks again.

It's actually very easy to understand once you play around with it.

The BCG has a spacer that pushes into the back of it, so that it can fill the added length that the folding stock adapter adds before it gets to the buffer assembly.

The spacer has a concaved recess cut off of the bottom of it so that it does not get caught on the buffer tube detent when traveling in and out of the lower receiver.

A. Would 'big latch' charging handle interfere with the folding?

B. What would happen if you tried to fire it in the folded position?

A.)  No it folds below the charging handle.

B.)  There is a video of it being fired folded.  It's not recommended and shit will most likely break,
but it is designed not to cause damage to the lower receiver when it does break.

Thanks.  I really like mine.

At first the adapter had some slight play in it, but when I found a wrench that fit the nut that came with the kit and torqued it down,
there is zero play now.  It really helped to tighten the adapter up to the lower.

I noticed after going from the CMT forged upper to the VLTOR it seems to feel much smoother
when you manually cycle it too.

My piston gun uses that POF roller cam pin and it is amazing how smooth it makes the action.

Without taking the carrier key off of my BCG for this gun, I don't know how else I could get one installed.

EDIT

nvm, found out there is an upgrade kit specifically for a DI gun.  Comes with custom carrier key to fit it.

I already have one.  762-sdn-6.

I posted a video of it on the first page before I changed the 8.2 to the 9 inch barrel.

and thanks

As for the full auto lower.

This was something I was interested in and searching for, but had to fund some other things, peq-15,pvs-14, IDF tavor, and sl8 converted by Chopstix kid g36c which is still transferring to my dealer on a form 3...  taking forever.

I do plan to find a way to run the 762-sdn-6 on that G36C conversion for sure.

I like the SPR/M4 mount because it recesses over the barrel and mates the suppressor pretty close to the handgaurd of the Tavor.

Also, the brake is near impossible to find.  I went through hell and high water to find.  I sent one of my other ones in to have repaired and AAC had to replace it.  They said I received the very last one they made.

I've heard that rail is really hard to work with. It's arguably the best looking one on the market right now though.

Are your groups better with a 9" barrel as opposed to the 8.2"?

I will find out this weekend.

The rail was actually very easy to install, took less time than my DD lite rails.
