It's probably a Bergara THOR that they are pimping as their own perhaps...

I just bought a 16" carbine Thor for $184 including a 4% cc fee and $22 for fed ex shipping. No shipping choices were given from Knesek Guns. The barrel was on sale for $155 which seemed like a good deal until shipping and fees were added.
Prior to making my purchase I asked if I could get a pinned A2 front sight and delta ring assembly on the barrel. I was told that all of the barrels came that way. When it arrived 7 days later ($22 Fed Ex shipping  ) I opened the package to find a stripped barrel.
After talking to Knesnek Guns they agreed to make it right, in fact they offered to assemble my entire upper and ship it back to me at no charge. So $10 UPS shipping back to Knesnek a week ago and I'm waiting for the upper to be returned to me. I'll post again once I get to shoot it. It appears that Knesnek, KGI, and Thor are all one company. I'm not sure if they will earn me as a repeat customer, yet but at least they are addressing my original problems. |
