| Well no hands on experience with this model but I'm in the middle. I own a 6933 and 6940 so I have a feel for both sides and in my opinion your better off with the 6933. The mono rail for the Colt is a bit wide and the QD mount is not is a great position. The QD mount is not anti rotational and it will spin freely. Remember for this mono upper you do not have the same parts as the standard Colt/M4 rifles. The gas tube is straight and the barrel is not standard and you need a special tool that are not made. Well there is at least one in the market but upon review it was not built great or heat treated. If you want to remove the gas tube then you need to remove the barrel and if its a replacement gas tube then good luck finding one. The 6943 and 6940 are built great but if you want a mono upper your better off having it in a 16" barrel for the accuracy the free float is intended for at long distance. |
