I'd likea new Dissipator like upper. Basically I want the long sight radius and "A" front sight, but I want to deviate from the old recipe by using a mid length gas system, and free float handguard. Oh I want a stainless barrel too and it will sport a carry handle.
This is the basic concept but setup for non-free float handguards. 
I'm not setup to press anything on, so I would prefer to have it built. Any suggestions on a vendor would be appreciated. |

Spike's, Palmetto, and CMMG offer mid length gas Dissy uppers.
ADCO can do it, but it isn't cheap and after you buy the barrel, the front sight, have them mill the barrel and pin the FSB, you would be better off price wise just buying one of the listed vendors above. Other option is a Armalite clamp on or the expensive JP front sight. Another route would be a folding clamp on front sight like the ones from PRI, ARMS, or RRA. These only require you find a midlength gas barrel of your choice and then clamp on the front sight. |
