| Has anybody used the Geissele DMR marksman trigger?, I want a smooth, short trigger for hunting and precision shooting... Anybody that has used one, please share your thoughts... |

I have one. It is probably the best two-stage trigger I have used in an AR. It is fairly adjustable, too, especially if you get a spring kit. Mine breaks just a hair over 3.5lbs, as set from the factory. Because it is so precise, and tightly-fit, it has no slop.
Is it the best trigger, overall? That is too subjective to answer. I still love my JP, a super-short and crisp single-stage, for pure speed. Some people like the Geissele 3Gs for their rolling feel. The Hi-Speed triggers (DMR or otherwise) give a little more control for precision. For hunting or target work, you would do well with one. |

I have one on my DDM4v7 and I love it. Smooth 2 stage trigger with a glass-like break. The reason, however, that this trigger is so good for precision shooting is the lock time (time it takes for the hammer to fall and ignite the primer). At less than half the lock time of the stock trigger, it substantially reduces the guns movement prior to firing. Besides adjustability, the lock time is what you are paying for with this trigger! Great product, and Geissele's customer service is superb (I had a problem with one of the screws on my DMR, so he Fedex'd me 5 tubes of lube, about 10 wrenches, and an entirely new subsection of the trigger for free). Needless to say, I will be a repeat customer and this trigger will be on all my precision rifles. |
