[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Help IDing this upper?

Anybody have any idea who forged and /or finished this upper is? Thanks in advance. I bought it off the EE thinking it was a Colt but upon receiving it I think I may have misread the ad.

It is a Diemaco upper, they were the supplier to Canadian forces, Diemaco made all their rifles/carbines to Colts TDP as they were licensed to do so, great quality. Colt bought them a few years ago and are now called Colt Canada. If you'd prefer a Colt marked upper let me know, I'd gladly trade ya!!

The first symbol (stylized D) is Diemaco of Canada. The second mark (splintered A) is Anchor-Harvey who forged it for them. Confidence is high that it was also machined and finished by Diemaco.

Good for you. There are guys that are willing to pay big bucks for that upper on the EE.
