| I'm really liking my 20" bcm set up. What is the story on bcm? Do they get government contracts, where are they made? I've only had colts in recent years and the quality of this bcm rivals them. |

They make a great product and that's all that matters. Gov contracts mean absolutely nothing. ETA: I've owned around 20 of their uppers if that says anything I agree in the end that's what counts, just wondered about them they seem fairly new on the AR market relatively speaking... |

| No other AR that I would sooner take into a fight than a BCM. They are made in Wisconsin and are of the finest quality. I've been to their facility many times and am honored to count BCM's owner as a personl friend. He is a stand up guy who does credit to the industry and never compromises on quality. I would put their product above a Colt every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Just sayin'. |

Damn Paul is one Swol dude, and I love my 14.5 BCM middy which IMO is their best upper. YMMV |
| I own 6 BCM mid-length carbines and love them. One has over 10,000 rounds fired through it with no malfunctions other than a few that were mag related. Not one of those rounds was fired sitting at a bench. I run them hard similar to if they were in combat. I've dropped them in the swamp were we have a simulated combat range, crawled through sand & mud and swam through nasty swamp water with mine and they just keep going. |

Over 7,000 posts here and you are new to BCM? Unpossible. And no, they are not new. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7201/6865080809_f5fca040aa_b.jpg http://farm5.staticflickr.com/4101/4895174208_bde489f7f4_b.jpg But they make an awesome 20" upper. I'm really more into handguns. I own a few ARs like every American should, but they're Colt carbines. When I wanted a 20" upper I turned to BCM, and the upper I own from them is the finest AR I've ever fired. In the future I'm going to buy more from them. |
