I just finished my build, and i came across a problem. I purchased scope rings (Weaver Tactical 1" Scope Rings - 6 Hole Caps) to go with my Bushnell Elite 4200 2.5-10x40. I got home with the rings and started to mount the scope and notice the objective lens hit my hand guard. I really dont want a riser, is there anything that will work like a mount? And no i don't want to spend $200 on a Larue Mount. Any help would be great. Thanks ahead - Kyle

Check out GG&G for an extended riser, which is what you need. Weaver and Leupold make SPR style one piece rings and bases starting around $75.00.

the easiest way would be just get a taller set of rings. , if the rings you have are labeled hi get extra hi take them to a shop and compare to find taller ones
the mount I have used on servile is Pro Mag PM067 it is a very tall one piece mount I have 4 AR's with them on it they are about $50.00 I did find out on my last build I used a Nikon scope and found that Nikon scopes are about 1/4 inch shorter than other brands , I had to use weaver extra hi  rings on that one
