And now I have a bad case of BRD. Thinking of building a rifle w/ Noveske gen 2 lower.
The only place I could find the Noveske lowers in stock is G&R, and they're 300 bucks. Not sure if I want to do that, but damn those lowers look nice. Anyone want to help me justify spending 300 dollars where a 150 dollar lower will do? |
| A $99 lower does work just fine, but I say fo for the Noveske. A DPMS will do for most of the weekend warriors on here but many spring for LaRue or or other fancy brands. I spent $275 on a Franklin Armory Billet lower and had no idea what to do with it, so now I am putting all top-tier parts in it and replacing the PSA lower on my Stag Model 6. Of course, if I do that, I also have to change the stock, cheap free-float rail, etc... So my impulse lower buy will cost me upwards of a grand when all done! It really is a sickness. |

I had originally been eyeing up an AK pistol, but when I heard John passed I said my next rifle would be a Noveske. I think buying one of his lowers is a good way to get that ball rolling. It is a very nice lower but it will not do anything a standard lower will do at half the price. If You want it and it helps remind You of John and His work, Then by all means get it. Finding a Noveske upper is going to be hard for a while but the lowers are easier to find right now. |
