OK, so I figured out all my other issues, but now, when I turn the Alpha Rail so that the little tab hits the side of the upper (supposedly to align the rail), the top rail is not aligned with the upper receiver -- it is like 1 degree off. Should I back it off a degree and tighten it up where it aligns? Will it be stable without the tab pressed up against the upper? I cannot leave it the way it is because the rail is clearly not at 0 degrees. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

As always, Thank You.

use a carry handle to align?

Neither of mine actually touch the upper. Just line it up and tighten it down.

No rail that I have that has anti-rotation tabs actually touch the upper.

Ahh. Got it. Yeah, it clearly does not align with the carry handle at all. Good to know I am not the only one.

Now, if I can just find a bayonet with a shortened handle.

Yup.

It'll be fine that way too.
