I've always used mil-spec and polished mil-spec triggers but I'm considering stepping up. In the past I've heard of problems with notched hammers and light strikes giving ftf problems. Are there any I should stay away from since I like to be able to shoot any ammo that I run across?
It's for my general purpose, competition, SHTF, carbine. |

Quoted: Geissele SD-E (or SSA-E if you want the regular curved trigger). I've tried about all of them, and that's my favorite. The SSA is nice, but doesn't hold a candle to the SD-E. For a HD/SHTF gun, I'd use a SSA or SD-C, but SD-E for everything else. Also OP the SSA and SDC Geissele's are pretty much the same with different trigger faces with one being flat and the other curved. |

The RRA NM is a pretty good trigger. Yeah, there are better and more expensive options out there but I have yet to have an issue with one. I have them on all my rifles. notorious for failing, have a rather low life expectancy (3k rounds?) If you're going to pay $130 for a trigger, spend $50 more and pickup the geissele |
