I was thinking of sending a rifle for some work. I found this. If you look on the left there are different sizes available.

I would recommend breaking it down and shipping it in a shorter wider box. That kind of long box screams firearm and your potential for theft is high.
If you still want to ship it whole. Go buy one of those inexpensive Doskosil cases with the egg crate foam and put that in a long box. The Doskosil case offers the best protection and you can use it again as a case. Last one I bought was $15 at Wal-Mart. |
