Just received my new complete lower a few days ago and I noticed that when I perform a function check I don't feel the trigger reset instantly. Sometimes I have to lightly tap or pull on the trigger. Is this common with newly built lowers or is there are issue? If there is an issue, is there an easy fix?

This is my first personal AR and most of the M4's I've used are WELL broke in. Besides, I'm not terribly familiar with the internal workings.

Thanks for the help

It's the poly lower from New Frontier Armory.

It's a quality piece, but I'm still not sold on the polymer LPK.

Right...

I would keep working the parts but if it wont improve you will need to take it apart and find out what is going on.

Check your disconnector spring to ensure it's in there the right way (fat side down).
