I'm in the process of building my second lower right now, first one went off without a hitch.
This time I'm finding the safety not functional.
As soon as I put the detent into the lower, the safety will not rotate at all. This is without any tension on it at all.
I tested it with the detent, spring and grip fully installed and found the same problem, it won't rotate off of the fire position.
The parts I'm using are an Omni lower, PSA LPK and a Gieselle SSA trigger.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

is the groove/hole in the safety that the detent sits into that steep?
or is the detent especially pointy?

That would be my first place to look, also they tend to soften up after use.

The detent did look pretty pointed to me, but I was hesitant to file it flat.
Would that be an option?

Is the gun charged?? The safety won't function unless it is

Yes sir, it was charged.
Just figured out the problem, I'm an idiot.
If you're eye sight sucks, man up and put on your reading glasses.
Pivot pin detents and selector detents are not interchangeable.

I was just going to say this, but did not want to offend ya!  Glad you have it figured out.

Remember, the end with the hole in it points downrange..
