I've been looking at the LaRue's for awhile and they seem to be one hell of a rifle for the money, especially the predatar, the predatOBR is what I'm thinking, as I can put a can on it,

But, I'm also looking at the other two, I've almost made up my mind on the PredatOBR, only for the sake of a can, although it sucks that I can ONLY have  Surefire break, and I would like to have other options, remember I'm in CT and the muzzle device has to be pinned.

For the money, is there anything else out there you'd think would compete?
The price is rock solid right where is should be, the wait is long, but still, I'd love to get one of these.

LaRue makes a great rifle but I would look elsewhere. The wait time before sandy hook was 8 months. You can probably double that wait time post sandy hook.

Muzzle device can be removed and replaced. I wouldn't let that be a deciding factor.
And yes Noveske competes.
Edit: I would love a Larue also.

I just finished watching the 10 annual Sniper competition at Ft Benning GA, the team that won used a 20" OBR and a 16" OBR.
I am sure that Mark can put any muzzle device on it you want.

What range do you want to shoot at?
The OBR has extra MOA hold built in for very long range, The perdatARs have 0 MOA built in both will shoot to max range but the OBR can get by with a scope without 100 MOA ish adjustment.

And Yes the Noveske Equipment is also top notch (RIP John)

I'd like a LaRue upper to pair with a KAC lower (left handed).  That'd about be my dream rifle.  Too bad you can't over 1/2 a Predatar

Yes....I have one in 12.5....which is why I want one of their rifles......Noveske, I have given thought to, but I've heard they've had problems a bit since the accident.  THAT F'n Sucks...but it happens.
Those OBRs are one hell of a rifle. In 16"...

But again, I do like the predatAR, and I don't have a pencil barrel in my quiver at all.  Plus I wouldn't be as tempted to get a can.....
Knight's is also very nice, but I still think bang for buck, the PredatAR is just awesome.  I've seen A LOT of franken guns that, part for part are more expensive.

The wait is undetermined, and it was guessed at a year.  Still, good time to get in line.  They are cocentrating on getting customers lowers from what I understand so they can register them, then when the rest of the rifle is build, they've got it, even IF any ban legislation passes.

I strongly doubt that any will federally, but in my State, CT....I still think that even we will get by with almost nothing new.  We've been fighting like hell here.  And, I think we'll win. We're right after all.

Noveske isn't having problems with anything other than getting thousands of calls and emails every day. I have a 16" lightweight stainless noveske upper with the nsr rail and I like to think of it as my noveske version of the predatAr.
