Just wondering if anyone can point me to any brands of AR that support left hand eject?  My wife is a major lefty and has trouble with the right ejection

I would have to say that Stag Arms would be the most notable... to me at least :)

Stag Arms or RRA are pretty much your only two choices. I would definately go with a Stag Arms of your choosing and include their Plus Package.

Thanks for the suggestions.  I will definitely look at both.

I know this is a crazy question.....but any ideas where to get complete rifles these days?  I bought my first gun back in 2008, next in 2010..and third in late 2012 (just before this crap)...but all were from the LGS.  They don't carry Stag or RRA.  Is there a "best place" to lurk and look and/or get one on backorder?

I've heard great things about Stag

What specific problem is your bride having with the right hand ejection, if you don't mind me asking?
Do your rifles have the brass deflectors?
No disrespect to your wife, but it may be easier to help her adjust to the right-hand  ejection than to get another upper right now.
Let me ask this of you who are familiar with the lefties; do they use a proprietary bolt/bolt carrier?  I'm guessing at least the bolt has to be lefty specific; how carefully made are these bolts?  MPC checked?

My good friend got a Stag for his left handed son and it has been a great rifle and that boys runs it hard.  Never stick a 30 round mag in that rifle otherwise it will be empty in as fast as the boy can pull the trigger.

Stag reportedly has a 2 year wait now because of the panic, but I'd bet that you could pick up one of their left-hand models within a year from now (as long as no ban).

Read up on this but I remember RRA requiring a dedicated lefty lower. The stag will work on a standard lower.  DPMS  may have made them too.  As far as Stag, you need their upper and BCG, I did a south side middy for a friend and he loves it.

Call Pete at Legal Transfers and see what his leadtime is...

Pete not taking any calls.  Just emails as he is swamped.  His web page states Stag not taking any new orders now.

Thanks to the King and his Court you will be waiting a very long time.  One to two years unless you go to Gunbroker.com or try the equipment exchange here on AR15.com.

She is a left handed shoot who is right eye dominant so everything for her is a challenge.  She stands funny, she holds the gun funny and she complains that the brass is "whizzing by her and burning her".  I think some of it is just novice shooting and fear of the random ejection going the wrong way but I have always subscribed to the old theory that "if momma ain' happy...ain't nobody happy" so I figured I would look for options.

We do not have a brass deflector.  I offered one, but at least in the pictures, it appears it would be "in the way" for a lefty shooter.  Can anyone confirm or deny this?

No disrespect taken.  We are working every chance we can on her "getting used" to the right handed ejection.  We are even working to see if she can shoot right handed (given the right eye dominance) but see my comment above....want to keep her happy so the hobby remains one we can share.

This. RRA in my personal opinion though.

i wouldnt bother w/ left eject upper.
i am left handed & left eye dominant

i tried left handed eject, made no difference.  i prefer standard right hand eject.  never had an issue w/ brass.

get a clamp on brass deflector & teach her to shoot left & right handed.  midway has them in stock
once she gets used to it, she may find she likes shooting right handed better.  especially w/ the eye dominance.

also try & make sure she is keeping both eyes open.
i find this makes it easier when i am helping others learning the basics.

My wife is a lefty and but can shoot right or left handed and switchs eyes when she changes hands. when she shoots left handed with my rifle she was talking about flinching when the casings would eject infront of her. I bought a brass catcher Link to Product and now she shoots great with my rifle. we have been building her a rifle and im going to get one of these for it when were done. Other link to other product  if she is having problems with just the ejected casings this would help with that.
