Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone has recently purchased an upper from DEL-TON lately, I place an order showing "in stock" on Monday and requested a rough status time frame from them for delivery. Their answer on the phone and in their live chat is "NO ETA"..... I would hope they could at least say a week a month, two months a year.... I am wondering if anyone else has recieved such a snarky response??? I am almost sorry I ordered through them as I've seen several uppers available on BCM and Midway with better deals

I had a recent run in where they allowed me to purchase a barrel (along with a bunch of other stuff) the package showed up with no barrel(even though every item showed as shipped).  I had to call them to figure out that the barrel was on a 4-6 week back order.  I ended up having to settle with a different barrel that they actually had in stock.  No where at no time when ordering did it show the item as back ordered or out of stock.  I am satisfied with the product i have from them but was a bit pissed off over the whole ordeal.  

If a company couldnt give me an ETA i would cancel and move on.

What did you order? The gun industry is extremely swamped with sales right now & almost every vendor/dealer/manufacturer is having trouble keeping up with demand or out of stock on some items indefinitely. This happened four years ago as well (in case you weren't into guns then) & things didn't slow down for almost a year (+/-). I think it's prudent to not expect your order for a while even if it was listed as in stock.

Thanks for the helpful reply guys, does DEL-TON allow cancelations? I clicked on the "change status or cancel button" on their site and the reply was "in final stages of processing cannot modify order" so I have no idea if they actually have it ready to go or if there is a 3 month waite since they won't comment either way. And in response to the "everyone is busy comment", yes it's well taken and appreciated however... I've heard people getting orders from BCM and Joe Bob's with great response times and great customer support answers without this nonsense.

Fortunately I have a new purchased at cost fully assembled Noveske I'm picking up Saturday which makes me feel a little better

I had an order placed for a mil-spec buffer tube and stock kit. Placed the order before Christmas and has showed the status as processing ever since. I cancelled the order this morning. Just reply back to the order confirmation they sent you via email and ask to cancel the order. They replied back within an hour stating they had cancelled my order per my request.
