I've got a King Armory brake on a 12" 50 Beowulf upper.
What I'm thinking I'd like done is buying a brake long enough to meet the 16" minimum and having it permanently attached. But I'm having trouble finding anything. Would it be possible for someone to fab my current brake so its extended? Not a hack job. Something that looks factory. Any suggestions on where to look for a brake or who might be capable of extending my King Armory? |

I don't know of any suggestions for pinning a long enough brake on a Beowulf, but I would offer this: Why?
You have two really good options: 1. Sell the 12" barrel and buy a 16" barrel 2. SBR your lower for $200 tax + $50 engraving. A long enough brake/flash hider/etc. plus pinning is going to set you back $100, and you won't be able to take off your gas block or barrel nut after that. It's worth the extra money to have the freedom. |
