| How are FN barrels, Anyone have any experience with them? I'm looking at a either 14.5" or 16" |

You can't go wrong with FN of anything. FN is a very established company, with good manufacturing quality control.
That said, i am not sure if FN made AR barrels less than 20". FN was contractor for M16A2/A4, but only Colt is the contractor for M4. Thus FN didn't put their names on 14.5" or 16" barrel unless it's a special run or something. That said, they do make barrels for other brand names. |

FN barrels can be as good as any.
They are no newcomer to weapons --> FN USA They manufacture many barrels for many companies, they are a major player.

The following barrels are made by FN:
- All Noveske N4 barrels are made by FN - All Centurion CL barrels are made by FN. - All Palmetto State Armory CL barrels are made by FN. Personally, the Palmetto State Armory barrels are the best deal. I now have barrels from all 3. None shoot better than the others. |

I am not sure if PSA installs the FSB themselves, but I know that they receive the barrels themselves finished from FN. A lot of other manufacturers receive barrels from FN but they are not finished barrels so they finish them in house and therefore, the quality can vary from one manufacturer's FN barrel to another's. |
