cardinal forging....yes...used by Colt

Colt doesn't place any distinctive mark on the carry handles

There's no way of making sure that yours is made by Colt because they use different forge markings and that Cardinal forge marking are also used by other manufacturers.

Measure the rear shelf of your carry handle to see if it is mil-spec or commercial type, the dimensions and exactly where to measure I posted in this thread.

That's a forge code Cardinal Forge if IIRC. All the Colt, BM and USGI carry handles are forged

The cast carry handles you see are the cheap Chicom imports. They are to be avoided.
