I was so impressed after shooting my buddies Noveske 14.5 LW rifle that I want to do a soft-shooter build.  I currently have a 11.5" with a Spike's CHF LW profile barrel and though I really like it I would like a nice plush soft shooter.  I also don't want a tank of a rifle. Here's the parts I have to choose from so far:

Spike's 14.5 Mid Length gas system CHF LW profile bbl
Smith Vortex
VLTOR A5 system
Spikes Buffer Tube, spring and ST-T2 or T1 buffer

What combination of these or other parts would produce the softest shooter and still be able to shoot Tula underpowered ammo (I''m cheap)?

The T2 with a 14.5 mid may cause some reliability issues with lower power ammo. You also may want to consider a comp of some soft instead of the FH.

Rifle buffer tube/stock, a full brake, and a middie gas system will make a soft shooter.  Even softer would be a rifle length gas system on an 18''+.  From there probably added weight will soften it up more - UBR stock / heavier barrel.
