Well I have been lurking around and learning everything I could from this forum.  And I have just finished my first build. So here is my AAR for my first build and maybe this will help somebody.

1.     Detent springs fly really far.  I launched mine several times before I got it in.  After getting the feel for what was suppose to happen I ended up covering the lower with a towel so it wouldn't launch across the room.  FYI, I some how never lost one.  Came close took 15 minutes to find it but never lost one.

2.     This thing is garbage.  I don't have anywhere for a real vice clamp.  So I bought one of these with a suction cup base.  It wouldn't hold the suction when trying to tighten the barrel nut.  Then some how the screw that holds the clamp to the base broke and oddly enough it was easier to use.  I was able to put my knee on it and get the torque I needed.

3.     UPS and Fed Ex are shipping everything you ordered as fast as they can.  Be patient your part will be at your door soon.

4.     I hope shooting it is as fun as putting it together.

5.     I am sure I am missing some things I learned, but learning as I went was fun.

I guess now you guys want to see it.

I plan on putting my first round down range tomorrow if its not raining too bad.  Now here is a few questions.  What are some things I need to look for to make sure everything is functioning right? I got if it goes bang and the round goes down range and the next round is chambers properly.  But anything else?  Again thank you to everyone for either asking a question, answering a question, posting a comment, or posting a pic.

Did you check the head space? (not 100% necessary but a good idea) Did you do the basic fire control group function checks?
