With a total of five storage compartments (see # 10) what would you carry.

I just carry a small bottle of oil in the grip.  Maybe carry a couple batteries you have a light on the gun.  At any rate, don't put anything in there that you'd be upset about if it fell out and got lost.

Bubble gum,  eye liner,  and Smarties.

Or

Batteries,  a spare bolt and firing pin,  ear plugs and a bore snake.

Prophylatics in the storage compartment on the stock.

Jelly beans in the pistol grip.

...and Twizzlers in the stock tubes.

Cue the "weekend in Vegas" comments.

Chances are - if you have to ask - you haven't really got anything very pressing to put in them that's not just going to be an unnecessary weight addition.

However - popular civilian options tend to be batteries for any onboard electronics, bore snakes and cleaning oils, NFA paperwork, or repair parts like spare bolts and firing pins.

Hunting license, extra house key, just trying to think of different things, and wondering what others might cart about in their compartments.

These looked pretty cool.

Same stock I have.  I keep a spare bolt, Aimpoint battery, and small bottle of lube in the MIAD grip.  Emod gets spare CR123 and Ear plugs in tubes.  Chopped allen wrenches for the scope mount, KNS allens, and small optic cleaning patch in the small box storage on EMOD.

It depends on the rifle. At the very minimum, I carry a small bottle of machine gun lube I got from Larue and 123 batteries for my light.

Bacon.

In the other compartments: batteries in the stock, bolt & firing pin in the grip. On my dedicated .22: Form 4 in stock for suppressor, suppressor inside of buffer tube when not in use (not spring or buffer needed on .22), batteries for red dot, thread spacer for suppressor in grip. Everything packed with earplugs or sammich baggies to keep form rattling around.

If I were to be going on some type of expedition where it was in my best interest to make the most out of my storage compartments, here's what I'd have:

-small microfiber cloth, bolt, firing pin, cam pin, small bottle of clp, batteries for optic (if applicable) and light, a quarter, bore snake, ear, plugs, and any extra room could be filled by extra rounds.
